Fresh Smile Dental Care is in-network with most major PPO plans and accepts several Medicare Advantage dental benefits. If your carrier isn't on the list below, call us with your card. We'll check before you come in.
In-network means the practice has a contracted fee schedule with the carrier. Your out-of-pocket cost is usually lower than if you went somewhere out-of-network with the same plan.












A single carrier can have a dozen different plan tiers, and not every tier on a given carrier is in-network everywhere. Call (214) 623-0880 with your card and a few minutes. The front desk will pull your specific plan and confirm before you come in.
Medicare Advantage dental benefits
If you're enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan that includes dental coverage, we accept the following:
Aetna Medicare Advantage
Humana Medicare Advantage
United Healthcare Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage dental coverage varies more than PPO coverage. Some plans cover only cleanings and exams, others include fillings, extractions, and a portion of major work like crowns. We'll verify exactly what your plan covers before you come in, so there are no surprises.
What if my plan isn't on this list?
You're still welcome here. Two options when you're out-of-network:
We can still bill your insurance. Most PPO plans pay something toward out-of-network care. You'd typically pay a bit more than an in-network patient would, but we'll show you the math before anything is scheduled.
We can give you a transparent self-pay estimate. Itemized, in writing, before any treatment starts. CareCredit financing is available if the number is bigger than you'd want to handle in one visit.
Either way, you'll know what something costs before it happens. No surprise bills.
How insurance verification works
The front desk does this for every new patient before the first visit. It usually takes under 10 minutes:
Call (214) 623-0880 with your insurance card and date of birth handy.
We contact your carrier by phone or through their provider portal and pull your active benefits, deductible, annual maximum, and what's already been used this year.
You get an estimate before you come in if you want one. Especially helpful if you're booking for a specific procedure rather than just a cleaning.

If you don't have dental insurance
Plenty of patients here don't, and it's not a problem. You'll get a transparent, itemized estimate before anything starts, and there are options to make a bigger plan manageable:
CareCredit financing — short-term and long-term plans, often interest-free if paid within the promotional window.
Treatment sequencing — Dr. Yeo will tell you what's truly urgent versus what can wait. There's no pressure to do everything at once.
Special notes
Families. Children and parents on the same plan can be booked on the same day. The verification only needs to happen once.
